In Felson’s article, “Big People Hit Little People: Sex Differences in Physical power and interpersonal Violence” in the study it states women who have engaged in gun violence comes reason behind wanting to re-attribute justice on their own, when they are protecting themselves and/or when they want to actually physically hurt or end the others life (depending on personal reason). This may relate to the fact that women are prion to talk about their problems and search for help. In Hensley, Amber “10 Big Differences Between Men’s and Women’s Brains” she characterizes women, by nature, being more communicative with issues. Hensley states that women tend to talk through problems and look for solutions or compromises. On the other hand, men isolate and have a harder time understanding emotions.
“Women tend to communicate more effectively than men, focusing on how to create a solution that works for the group, talking through issues, and utilizes non-verbal cues such as tone, emotion, and empathy whereas men tend to be more task-oriented, less talkative, and more isolated. Men have a more difficult time understanding emotions that are not explicitly verbalized, while women tend to intuit emotions and emotional cues.” (Hensley, 10 Big Differences Between Men’s and Women’s Brains)
